Woody Rambell is from Cave Creek, Arizona. After 15 years of playing in bands of multiple styles, he decided to start Woody Rambell and the Wrecks. He comes from a long line of Country pickers. His Grandfather even played a show with Porter Wagoner in the late 50s.

In May 2024 Woody attended a musicians retreat in Camp Verde. He decided that upon returning to Phoenix he had better round up some players. After responding to a classified ad, guitarist Joe Dampt (Joe's Vintage Guitars) met with Woody and brought along his best pal and drummer Dillon Wayne Taylor (Goldwax Revival, Trashcan Romeos, Feratu). A few months later they acquired bassist extraordinaire Isaac Ford. This group is now known as Woody Rambell and the Wrecks.
